Are there any library resources I can use while branches are closed?
Yes. The library provides some online services, including access to e-books, Flipster magazines and other research material via Ebsco Online Database, Early Literacy Resource Database and JLS Catalogue.
What if my items are due? Will I accrue late fees?
The due dates for all checked-out circulating materials will be extended until after we reopen. No late fees should accrue on materials that were originally due during the closure period.
Can I register to become a member and receive my membership card?
During our period of closure, persons are welcome to register as a library member online through the JLS Catalogue and gain access to some of the online resources, including e-books, databases, and more. When we reopen, new applicants must visit their nearest library to validate their membership status and obtain a physical membership card.
My library card is about to expire. How can I renew?
All accounts nearing their expiration dates during our closure have been renewed until June of this year. Visit your library on or before this renewal period expires to renew the membership card.
Will I be able to make changes to my account? Is there anyone that can help me?
If you need to make changes to your account (e.g. change of address, marital status, contact number, etc.) you can log into your account via the JLS Catalogue and make adjustments as needed.
